11-7-24   THOUGHTS

This morning we focus on “God breathed”  words that can make us all we ever need to be!  Surely they must be in our hearts, souls and minds... they cannot remain in a book!  We are to “learn and continue” in this Scripture!  It is that which makes us complete and equipped for proper fruit bearing.  We are thus men and women of God, made by God’s mind!  
Eph 2:8-10    For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;  9  not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

2Tim 3:10-17 ESV    You, however, have followed my teaching, my conduct, my aim in life, my faith, my patience, my love, my steadfastness,  11  my persecutions and sufferings that happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, and at Lystra —  which persecutions I endured; yet from them all the Lord rescued me. 12  Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 13  while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14  But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it 15  and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.  16  All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17  that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

My Prayer:
Make us servants, Lord, make us like You.  We want to be good children, showing Your image to this world.  May we allow Your Scripture to make us wise unto salvation.  May Your breathed out word be profitable in us in all ways.   Guard us to the end, O Lord.
